The missions of FCFT are part of our family, an organic outgrowth of who we are. Many of our mission projects are carried out by the people of FCFT. We are a local church full of ministers. We also support ministries with whom we have personal relationship. We see their pain as our pain and their victories as our victories. Some of the missions of FCFT include:

Faith Christian Fellowship International. (http://www.fcf.org) FCF provides our spiritual accountability. We support them financially and with our support in projects throughout the year. Founded in 1977 by Buddy and Pat Harrison, FCF is an organization of churches and ministries, called of God, that is a family within the family of God. Its purpose is to be a helping hand, to advise, support, encourage and strengthen one another through relationship and fellowship.

Pima County Jail Ministries. (http://www.pimajailministry.org/) We support Chaplain Steve Martinez and the Pima County Jail Ministry with our finances and with our participation. Our Pastoral Staff are recognized chaplains in the jail and sponsor church services, Bible School classes, and addiction support groups in the jail. Hundreds of men and women are saved and delivered every year through this dynamic outreach to our community.

Vicki Parlier, Guadalajara, Mexico. A native of Delaware, Vicki has been associated with Faith Christian Fellowship International since 1981. After traveling with Youth With A Mission, she settled in Guadalajara in 1993. Vicki travels in Latin America ministering in churches and conferences. She has established The Biblical Institute of Faith in Guadalajara where she is preparing her students for ministry.

Vida Ministries, Dennis and Jeanne Cook, Darien Province, Panama. (http://www.vidaministries.com/) Natives of Kokomo, Indiana, the Cooks have lived in Panama since 1981. They have built a thriving ministry compound in the Darien jungle where they raised four kids, the youngest of whom still works with them in ministry there. They train pastors and oversee churches on the Choco Indian Reservation. In 2001 they built and now operate a Christian radio station, Radio Vida 105.1, which beams the good news throughout the Darien and into Colombia.

Ministerio la Palabra, Vicente and Ana Shields, Panama City, Panama. Pastor Vicente Shields leads the congregation of Ministerio la Palabra in Panama City. He joined with Pastor Virgil in 2002 to begin reaching Instituto de Entrenamiento Ministerial de Fe (FMTI in Spanish) as part of training ministers in his church. They experienced such success that he now oversees the expansion of the program to other churches. They work together each year to host a minister’s seminar teaching upper-level FMTI courses to pastors and church leaders.

Faith Ministry Training Institute (Instituto de Entrenamiento Ministerial de Fe). This incredibly effective training program has led to many wonderful opportunities to assist other churches in other places. Abundant Heart Ministries, the mission department of FCF Tucson, has planted the program as seed in Honduras, Chile, Panama, Mexico, and Native churches in the states. The Mexico City outreach has completed 3 years of classes and has led to a wonderful ongoing relationship with FCF of Mexico and Pastor Roberto Milián. This field promises to bear fruit for years to come. We also participate in annual congresos for pastors and continue teaching upper-level FMTI courses there.

FMTI Prison Correspondence. We send correspondence classes to any inmate in the United States. All we need is a mailing address. The material is an expanded version of the course outlines from FMTI classes. The homework for the classes is evaluated by one of our FMTI trained correspondence ministers, and a correspondence relationship is established. If the inmate demonstrates a willing heart, we provide him/her with a study Bible to use in completing the course work. We believe that the Word never returns void. If we can influence an inmate to read and study the Bible, we have given him/her a chance at victory in Christ. If you know an inmate who could benefit from this opportunity, e-mail the contact information along with your name to jailmail@fcftucson.org or send it to:
